AVANIGADDA: Prajarajyam Party chief Chiranjeevi delivered a master stroke by announcing that his party, if voted to power, will supply cooking gas at Rs 100 a cylinder.This, he said, will be in addition to the free gas connection to all the eligible poor.
Addressing a public meeting here on Tuesday, the PRP chief said nothing is impossible if the rulers have the resolve to deliver the goods and alleviate the problems of the common man.Sources said Chiru’s new flagship sop would cost the exchequer Rs 1,000 crore annually. "It is clear that Chiranjeevi wanted to catch his opponents offguard by doling out the LPG sop to woo women voters," an analyst said.
